he changed my appointment

i saw my doctor last week. as usual, at the end of the appointment, we set up a time for the next visit. the next day, he called me to change my next appointment time. he'd just found out there was a conference that day on bipolar disorder that he wanted to attend. this, my readers, is a good thing. more proof that my doctor cares about what he's doing and keeps himself educated on the topic. it is actually a relief to have him as my doctor.
